Parents are a very important part of RAPA and are encouraged to become involved in the organisation. Parents should plan on attending new student orientation, scheduled observations and evaluations along with their children.
Your participation plays an important role in the success of our students. RAPA has an open door policy and parents may contact the school with any questions they may have.
Observations and Evaluations
Once a term, parents/guardians are invited into the studio to observe classes. This is an opportunity to experience ballet and dance classes from start to finish: This observation is open to the public (friends, etc.) Observation classes are usually held in the last week of each term.
Cameras and video equipment are NOT permitted in the studios during observations.
Orientation for new students is held during the first week of each new school year. Specific times are announced in the registration packet that is sent in early August.
Eisteddfods and Competitions
Parents are advised that students enrolled at RAPA must discuss with teachers solo selection and competition entires prior to entering any competitions.
